The Founder/President has the authority to appoint individuals to Officer positions as needed. Positions will be held for a period of one year, unless the individual is found to be unfit or resigns. After holding a position for one year, the body of members will take a vote as to whether or not an appointed individual should continue to serve for an additional one year term. All elections will be by closed ballots. Members must be present for their votes to count.
Individuals desiring to run for an Officer position, will also be presented to the body of members for consideration and then vote will be taken to determine who will be elected to serve in that position for the next one year term. Elections are held annually, on the last Wednesday in the month of January, weather permitting.
Due to the broad range of community activities in which the CBNC is involved, all Officers and Board Members must complete and submit a copy of the results to the CBNC Founder/President, for the following two clearances: (1) Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and (2) Pennsylvania State Police Request For Criminal Record Check.
